Capital Children's Museum
800 Third St NE. Open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday - Sunday. Following Memorial Day through the summer, open Monday - Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission: $7/person, $5/senior citizens (55+), children under 2 are free, half price on Sundays before Noon with no other discount. Corcoran Museum
17th St NW at New York Ave. NW. Open Wednesday - Monday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday open until 9 p.m., except Thanksgiving. Closed Tuesdays, Christmas and New Year's Day. Admission: $5 for individuals, $4 for senior citizens, $3 for children 13-18, $8 for families. Children under 12 are free. Free admission on Mondays, and after 5 p.m. on Thursdays. (202) 639-1700. National Archives
700 Pennsylvania Avenue NW. Original copies of the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution on display in the Rotunda. The Rotunda will be closed for renovation from July 5, 2001 until September 2003. Research rooms will remain open Monday & Wednesday 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 8:45 a.m. to 9p.m., and Saturday 8:45a.m. to 4:45p.m. (202) 501-5205. Metro: Archives/Navy Memorial.
National Building Museum
401 F St NW (between 4th and 5th Sts. NW). Open Monday - Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free; however a $5 donation is suggested. Walk-in and group tours are available. (202) 272-2448. Metro: Judiciary Square.
National Gallery of Art

National Museum of Women in the Arts

National Zoo
